Meet Arabella at Soper’s Hole
Most guests begin their adventure by flying into St. Thomas which has direct flights from the NYC area. Then you hop on a 45-minute ferry ride directly to the West End of Tortola. This is a small, friendly customs port, so you’ll clear entry quickly and easily. From there, you can stop by Pussers for a Pain Killer and get picked up by our tender which will whisk you across the turquoise water to your home for the week—Arabella, anchored gracefully in one of the most beautiful harbors in the Caribbean. If you prefer to fly directly to Tortola’s Beef Island Airport (EIS), simply take a taxi across the island to the West End to meet the tender and begin your unforgettable voyage.

Cooper Island & Marina Cay
Mid-day, we’ll pause at Cooper Island for a leisurely lunch by the sea. The Cooper Island Beach Club is a true culinary highlight — from fresh, local seafood and bold island-inspired flavors to handcrafted cocktails, solar-powered craft beers, and a relaxed, open-air dining vibe right on the sand. After lunch, we’ll set sail toward Marina Cay, where we’ll anchor for the evening and choose among dining ashore or aboard.
Marina Cay itself is a charming, intimate island just off Scrub Island, offering a cozy Bar & Grill atmosphere under the stars. Their menu features island classics and shareables — think tropical seafood, ceviche, burgers, and flavorsome cocktails that pair perfectly with sunset views. Walk to the top of Marina Cay just at sunset to see the magical lure of this quaint island.

North Sound & The Bitter End
Sail into the stunning North Sound of Virgin Gorda, a sailor’s paradise surrounded by turquoise waters and island charm. Drop anchor at the iconic Bitter End Yacht Club, recently rebuilt and better than ever, where you can enjoy a waterfront lunch, explore boutiques, or sip cocktails with fellow sailors. Just across the channel, Saba Rock offers a lively after-hours scene — grab a seat for their famous sunset fish feeding, then stay for music, rum drinks, and the best nighttime vibe in the BVI.

Anegada
If the weather is fair, we’ll make the unforgettable sail to Anegada, the BVI’s only coral island — a low, shimmering atoll surrounded by brilliant turquoise shallows. Unlike the other mountainous islands, Anegada feels like another world, with endless white-sand beaches and a wonderfully laid-back vibe. We’ll spend the afternoon at Cow Wreck Bay, a legendary beach bar where the water is impossibly blue, the music is mellow, and time seems to slow down. As the sun sets, prepare for one of the Caribbean’s most celebrated meals — a fresh-caught Anegada lobster dinner, grilled on the beach under the stars, perfectly paired with island cocktails and good company.
If the weather or swell makes Anegada unreachable, our alternative is the elegant Peter Island Resort, where guests can enjoy a peaceful anchorage, indulge in treatments at the island’s renowned spa, and dine overlooking one of the most picturesque bays in the British Virgin Islands. Whether it’s Anegada’s barefoot charm or Peter Island’s quiet luxury, this day always becomes one of the voyage’s most memorable highlights.

Jost Van Dyke & White Bay
A visit to White Bay on Jost Van Dyke is pure Caribbean bliss. Spend the afternoon barefoot on the powdery white sand, floating in the crystal-clear shallows with a frosty Painkiller from the world-famous Soggy Dollar Bar in hand. The scene is lively but relaxed — beach music, laughter, and sailboats bobbing just offshore. As the sun dips low, we’ll weigh anchor and make our way around to Great Harbour, where the night begins at Foxy’s, the legendary beach bar known for its live music, island barbecue, and irresistible energy. Whether you dance under the palm trees or enjoy a laid-back dinner ashore, Jost Van Dyke always delivers a great Caribbean night.

Norman Island
Our final anchorage brings us to The Bight at Norman Island, one of the most storied harbors in the Caribbean and said to be the inspiration for Treasure Island. Drop anchor in the calm, turquoise bay and spend the afternoon swimming or taking the scenic hike up the hill for breathtaking views across the Sir Francis Drake Channel. Ashore, enjoy margaritas and island fare at the laid-back Pirate’s Bight beach bar — a perfect spot to unwind in the sun. As evening falls, the energy shifts seaward toward the famous Willy T, a floating bar and restaurant known for its lively parties and unforgettable nights under the stars. Whether you’re relaxing on deck or joining the fun, a night at Norman Island is the perfect finale to a week of adventure aboard Arabella.

The Royal BVI & the West End Yacht Clubs
One of the great joys of joining the Manhattan Yacht Club flotilla in the BVI is the lively camaraderie that fills every evening. There’s always a party somewhere — whether it’s cocktails on deck, music ashore, or dancing under the stars. Along the way, we’re joined by fellow sailors from the Royal BVI Yacht Club and the ever-spirited “loyal” West End Yacht Club, creating instant friendships across islands and burgee lines. On Saturday morning, all three clubs come together for a friendly regatta, blending fun competition with island adventure. That evening, we’re invited to their yacht club for dinner and a trophy celebration, where laughter, stories, and toasts continue long into the night — the perfect finale to a week of sailing paradise.

FAQs
Where do we meet Arabella?
Guests will meet Arabella at Soper’s Hole Marina on the West End of Tortola, British Virgin Islands. Most guests fly into St. Thomas (STT), then take a 45-minute ferry directly to West End — a small, friendly customs port where you’ll clear entry quickly and easily. From there, enjoy a Painkiller at Pusser’s while waiting for Arabella’s tender, which will whisk you across turquoise waters to your floating home for the week. Guests flying directly into Tortola’s Beef Island Airport (EIS) can take a scenic taxi ride across the island to meet the tender at Soper’s Hole.
What is the easiest way to get to the British Virgin Islands?
Flying into St. Thomas (STT) and taking the ferry to West End is the most popular option, with multiple daily departures. Alternatively, you can fly into Beef Island (EIS) via San Juan or another Caribbean hub and take a taxi to Soper’s Hole. Both routes are easy and offer stunning island views.
Do I need to have sailing experience to join this adventure?
No prior sailing experience is needed to enjoy an unforgettable week aboard Arabella, our luxurious 157-foot mega yacht. Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or have never stepped on a boat before, this journey is designed for everyone. You can get as involved in the sailing as you like—learn the ropes, experience steering the yacht if offered by the captain, or simply watch the crew in action. Or, if relaxation is your goal, sink into one of Arabella’s plush cushions with a good book and let the sea breeze rejuvenate your soul. With spacious decks, gourmet meals, and stops at some of the most beautiful Caribbean islands, your experience aboard Arabella will be equal parts adventure and indulgence. This is more than a sailing trip—it’s your gateway to luxurious exploration and timeless memories.
How should I pack?
Pack light! Bring a soft duffel bag rather than a hard suitcase. Lightweight, casual resort wear is perfect for the islands. Include swimsuits, reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, flip-flops, and one nicer outfit for dinners ashore. Don’t forget a light cover-up or windbreaker for evening breezes. Packing light is key for your week aboard Arabella! While she is a luxurious 157-ft megayacht, space onboard is thoughtfully designed but limited. We highly recommend bringing your essentials in a soft duffle bag, which can be folded and stored in your cabin. Hard suitcases are discouraged, as there won’t be room to store them. Each cabin provides space for your wardrobe, with a few drawers and a hanging area. If you’re staying in a Premier or Deluxe cabin, you’ll enjoy more generous storage compared to the Double or Single Staterooms. Packing smart and light ensures a stress-free and comfortable experience, so you can fully enjoy every moment of your sailing adventure!
Are there electrical outlets in the cabins?
Yes, every cabin aboard Arabella is equipped with 110-volt electrical outlets, ensuring you can stay connected and comfortable throughout your journey. You’ll have the ability to charge your phone, laptop, or other electronic devices each night. The outlets can also accommodate small personal appliances, like a hair dryer or electric razor, so you can feel fresh and ready for both adventure-filled days and elegant evening events. To make the most of the shared onboard power, we recommend bringing only essential devices and unplugging them once charged. With the convenience of these outlets, you’ll have everything you need to stay powered up and focused on enjoying your luxurious week at sea!
Are linens included?
Yes, all linens are provided to ensure your stay aboard Arabella is as comfortable as it is luxurious. Each stateroom is fully stocked with high-quality sheets, four plush pillows, a cozy fleece blanket, and a stylish bed cover. Towels for onboard use are also included. Midway through the cruise, our stewardesses perform a “turnover,” refreshing your cabin with clean sheets and linens. Please note that with up to 18 guest cabins onboard, the turnover process may be staggered over two days to ensure each guest receives attentive service. For your onshore excursions or beach outings, we recommend bringing a lightweight beach towel, as these are not included. With thoughtfully prepared staterooms and attentive service, Arabella ensures that you’ll feel right at home while enjoying your adventure on the water.
What is the situation with bathrooms and showers?
Each cabin aboard Arabella is outfitted with its own private head (the nautical term for bathroom), complete with a shower, toilet, and sink, offering you the privacy and comfort of your own space. Additionally, every cabin is equipped with air conditioning, so you can relax and sleep at your preferred temperature, ensuring a restful and enjoyable experience after a day of adventure. However, as with any yacht, water conservation is crucial. All freshwater onboard is produced using our state-of-the-art Parker Aquamatic watermaker, which transforms seawater into freshwater. While this system ensures a steady supply, the capacity is limited, especially with a full complement of guests and crew. To help us preserve this precious resource, we kindly ask all guests to take “navy showers” (briefly rinsing, turning off the water to soap up, and then rinsing again) and to use water thoughtfully. If you’re traveling with a partner or friend, sharing a shower can also help conserve water. Your cooperation ensures that everyone onboard has access to sufficient water while also supporting sustainable yachting practices. Together, we can enjoy the comforts of Arabella while being mindful of our shared resources!
How is food and drink handled during the cruise?
Dining aboard Arabella is an experience in itself, with all meals freshly prepared by our talented gourmet chef. We focus on healthy, flavorful dishes that showcase the best ingredients, and whenever possible, we source farm-to-table provisions to ensure exceptional quality and freshness. Your cruise fare includes hearty breakfasts and delicious lunches each day, as well as three thoughtfully curated dinners onboard, giving you a chance to savor meals crafted with care while enjoying the stunning views and relaxed atmosphere of the yacht. In addition to meals, your cabin fare includes a selection of non-alcoholic beverages to keep you refreshed throughout the day. Arabella also features a well-stocked cash bar offering beer, wine, and expertly mixed cocktails, so you can sip and savor your favorite drinks while lounging on deck or watching the sunset. From gourmet meals to refreshing beverages, Arabella ensures a culinary journey that complements your sailing adventure perfectly!
Payment & Cancellation Policy
Because only a limited number of cabins are available for each vacation, we request that guests pay the full cabin fare when they register. If this is an issue for you, please call us to discuss (201-753-1207). In order to protect your investment, guests are required to purchase trip insurance through a third party. If a guest cancels a trip 60 or more days in advance and we can fill the cabin with another guests, they will receive a 75% refund of all monies paid. If a guest cancels a trip between 30 and 60 days and we can fill the cabin with another guest, they will receive a 50% refund. No cancellations are permitted within the final 30 days before departure.
